drone2805 Another Gaëtan Gromer Album that has A LOT OF POWER! The sound quality is fantastic. The sound is clear, the textures are rich and the frequencies are well felt. The artist has gone to great lengths to give us well-rounded sound experiences. And personally, I love the very particular sound of its rhythms. I want more. When will the next delivery? Favorite track: Oroshi.

about

English
[fri: z] refers to computer's freeze and its mental equivalent when the brain temporarily interrupts the course of time, leaving us only dealing with pure sensations, as if frozen, completely immersed in what we are experiencing.
The album "tells" about four of these moments : a moment of exhaustion in Kirghizstan (Oroshi), of strangeness in Bulgaria (Burgas 0-2), of bliss in Nepal (Aube à Pokhara), and of intense daydreaming before experiencing a kind of agoraphobic anxiety in Canada (La ville du dessous).
The basis sounds used in these pieces were recorded in these places before beeing deeply transformed to create those special atmospheres.
